Global FSW_PSW file vs Modules

Hi there. This may be a bit of a noob question that I hope someone can help with. Here's what I think I know: When you connect NCS-Expert and go through the initial steps of selecting a chassis and ecu it pulls the large or global FSW-PSW file of all the module's code. After this when you select to read an ecu, you select one of the modules and the FSW_PSW file is replaced with the contents of just this module, correct?

That all makes sense to me but where I'm getting confused is that I'm finding parameters in the global FSW_PSW file that are not in the module where I think they should be. Is it possible the global file contains code for other models that I can't code on mine? Specifically I'm looking for the FLR_C0F and FDB which should be in the DSC module. The only module I can find related is the BDSC and these parameters are not there but they are in my large FSW_PSW file.

Thanks for any help!
