LCI Pro Nav USB

I've been looking at number of LCI E91's (2010/11)

I've noticed the ones with pro nav, some have a USB in the arm rest and some don't?

Do they both have a hard drive for music and map storage? How do you load the maps and music with out the USB?

They'll have USB in the glove box. Armrest USB is an option for USB stick, iPod e.t.c.

Glovebox USB - maps update, copy music on HD
Armrest USB - connected to MULF or Combox, direct play contents from USB stick, external HD, iPod etc, use for bmw apps if Combox fitted.

Thanks for the replies.

So arm rest USB is better to have? What about music via Bluetooth, will this work?

You'll still have Bluetooth streaming available as that isn't dependant on the armrest USB.

Thanks, I've obviously realised there are a few difference depending on age, so I've posted a question in the idrive / navigation forum now as it probably should be there.
