need advice?!?! ista-p/ ista-d

I was programing my 2009 328i (e90) just running the regular software recommend action in ista-p and all of the sudden the battery symbol came on and shut the car off. it was in the middle of programing the radio and now the radio is completely off/non functional.
do i just need to re run the programming to the radio and it should work?

And for the battery side do i just hook up a battery charger to the battery while I'm running the program since it cant run with ignition on?.

Any help is helpful I'm new to coding on BMWs.

thanks!,
nick

Your lucky that battery symbol didn't come on when Ista was programming your DME, EGS or CAS or else your car would inoperable.

ALWAYS have a battery charger when carrying out programming test plans. You can get away without one of your only updating one or two modules with winkfp.

See if you can still communicate with the radio through Ista or Inpa, if not, you just bricked your radio.

If it's still communicating that's good.

You need to use expert mode in ISTA P to program single modules.

Are you using an ICOM A+B

Don't attempt this without an external power supply. You got VERY lucky as stated. Put it down to a lesson learned and connect up a stable power supply (13.8v >50amp) or at the very least a charger.
