Questions regarding my Pure Stage 2 and map 6
So I've been working with Terry at BMS to dial in my map 6 with MHD BEF. Setup is FBO pure stage 2 no meth no PI running e40 on fuel it stage 2 pump. Map 6 settings are set to hit 23 psi and I put my FF/Wastegate adaption at 74 and I'll do a pull and it'll be great. I'll go to do another pull a few minutes later and I'll get misfires like crazy. I go back and look at user settings and FF/Wastegate adaption has shot up to 80-100. I have to keep changing settings back to 74 in order to get a good pull or else it changes automatically and I misfire. Anyone know how to make that not happen? Lowered boost to 21 and same thing. Even changed plugs to 2step colder today. Will be getting PI soon but for now I want to fix this problem so I can at least enjoy 23 psi.

N54tech is the best place to ask JB4 questions. If Terry is helping you dial in the JB4 then why not ask him?
Higher FOL values force the DME to see lower than actual rail pressure. The DME then requests more fuel from the HPFP to meet the requested rail pressure. The HPFP fuel inlet opens up more and then more fuel flows. Excess fuel is what causes rail pressure to rise. Unfortunately, the stock HPFP cannot flow enough fuel to support a PS2 turbo, so eventually the HPFP inlet fully opens and then rail pressure crashes as teh engine consumes more fuel in the rail that the HPFP can produce. If flex fuel wires are causing FOL value to "learn up" it means your running out of fueling up top. Taper boost more or run less ethanol content. |

I don't recall the FUD number to lock the FF. I think it is 99 but you can ask Terry. 23 psi on E is too much for the PS2 without TBI or PI.

Not sure why FF learning up is an issue, doesn't that just mean the JB4 is "learning" the "base" wastegate actuation required to hit target boost? It's basically learning up and leaving less adjustment to PID? |

Max I've been able to run is E30 and 20psi taper to 18. Stock fuel system cant handel more than that. One thing to do is raise your duty bias settings. My FF has reached 120 which is unnecessary. Raised my duty bias setting back up and FF is around 90 with less over boost.
