Fumoto Oil drain valve on the 335i
Has anyone else used the Fumoto on their 335i? I installed it today and I think it's there to stay. I know it's probably more risky but since I do my own basic maintenance, it's worth it. It also makes it easy to sent oil samples to Blackstone for oil analysis.

I have the fumoto valve on my car and there is plenty of room for the trap door to mount. I didn't use the spacer they said was necessary and have plenty of room to open the valve and to install the cover.
They are one of the simplest and best mods for convenience you can do! |

I got one of those, but it wouldn't fit for me. I'm not sure what size I bought, but I needed the spacer piece I guess. Just waiting for my next oil change now. I really like the idea because i'll be able to change my oil with it warm and when it still has stuff suspended in the oil.

I used the Fumoto F-109 and it fits great with the trap door on. I'll put up some pics. The Fumoto without the nipple works great since it drains directly down.
