That sucks. I was goin to go, but now that i heard this i can wait a few more weeks to see it at the dealership. How do they look in person? better or worse than the pics?

To me, the X6 and 1er looked the same in the metal as in pics. Althought the low sloped roofline in the X6 has a bit more visual impact in person.

This is unlike the earlier Bangle designs which didn't photograph well.

Oh, I assume you were talking about the cars not the girls, right?

I haven't even gone yet (going today) but I agree with you Matt. Philly show blows. BMW blows.

Just got back from the show and while I didn't get_______, the show did serve the purpose of seeing and touching (especially the 911 Carrera S4, if you know what I mean, JM ) what the competition has to offer. This was accomplished without running around to a bunch of different dealers and we were able to weed out our choices.

...and as a bonus, we got to spend some quality time with friends.

Wow Steve... did you really "just" get back when you posted? Did it take you and extra hour to get home? Anyway, glad you made it safe and sound. Well, at least safe, anyway.

Have to say the Philly auto show was pretty awful. I felt ripped off even with the free passes. You couldn't get near any of the cars because they were full of kids crawling through them like they were playground equipment. I guess yesterday (being "kids" day) meant "turn your children loose in the convention center and pick them up in five hours out front". The BMW exhibit was very disappointing to say the least. KIA had more going on!

But, in agreement with STE92VE, it was well worth the time and the trip to meet up with good friends!
