Lease return: will I be charged for windshield chips?

With this winter season, its impossible to avoid small pits/chips in the northeast. On a lease return, are these an issue or considered wear and tear? There's no scratches or cracks or bull's eye type marks. Just those small dot pits. Thanks!

I've never had an issue. You should be fine.

Most likely not, but impossible to be conclusive without pictures.
To be absolutely sure, schedule a free pre-lease return inspection (takes ~15 minutes) with the dealer, and they will give you a clear go/no-go ruling.
