Meth?

I am looking at adding Meth to my car in advance of a custom tune from Ken at Wedge Performance. I am looking at the AEM 3350 methanol kit. Is this an easy upgrade path to go down. Is it worth it? Any regrets?

Thanks

I don't have any personal experience, but from what I remember reading, the only system with a good built in "failsafe" that is compatible with Cobb and MHD, (i.e. not with JB4's built in failsafe) was the Aquamist HSF-4. Problem is, it was about double the price of other kits, last time I checked.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I have the AEM kit and I am tuned by Wedge
The kit does what it is supposed to do, I have never been a fan of using Meth for big power, so I dont really care for the additional failsafe

+1, this is the kit Ken recommends and uses. I will be getting the same kit shortly, my use for it isn't to increase octane for running more boost as the E30 I run provides sufficient octane for my boost levels. I'll be using it for intake cooling as I'll be keeping the stock FMIC for awhile.

AEM 3350 is a good kit. You just need the failsafe and gauge. That kit alone is more then capable for anything mated with the failsafe and gauge.

The only thing that would make an AEM kit better at that point is either getting a race tank in the trunk and subbing in stainless steel braided lines.
