Magnaflow Reviews? Borla? 335i e90

Finding good videos/reviews on these two exhausts is like pulling teeth. Does anyone have experience with these exhausts or how they compare to the HKS exhaust/BMW PE in terms of sound? I've heard PE is good but axle back and quad tips aren't too interesting too me, I rather get a whole system for the same price and I don't know how to cut my bumper lol.

I'm looking for a deep/ grumble/ exhaust that sounds good at low RPMs too. Not looking to spend over $1400, anyone got good recommendations?

Corsa. I get compliments on how the car sounds fairly often. I have the full corsa exhaust. Made a little more power too.

Corsa is pretty popular for the name brand exhausts. It really comes down to personal preference on the sound.

These brands are not popular for the N54 engine ... I do agree with posts above about Corsa sounding good

i have the borla and its deep but does drone at around 1700rpm. Also this is not a bolt on kit, you have to cut your OEM after resonator on a E90 and the Borla system is a slip on clamp fitting. I put it on my E92 and is decent minus the drone and new rattles in the back of the car, mainly rear sliding console. Waiting for parts to come in to fix the rattle

I have a MagnaFlow w/x-pipe and 3" catless AR dp's. I'm happy with the sound and no drone what so ever. Aggressive but not the loudest on the market. I got the touring version but I sometimes wonder if I should have purchased the race version. I didn't want to be too loud and make some Honda's jealous....

Yes I did. I'll try and make a clip for you.

Yeah the Magnaflow sport version is two separate mufflers so I would definitely opt for that. Have to be louder than all the diesel trucks in Louisiana, more so than the Hondas

I am going through the exact same dilemma for my N55 E90 Sedan - Have quotes for Magnaflow (race) and Corsa, and in video clips both seem similar in sound. Does anyone know which one is more aggressive? Not planning to do any other mods for now. Was also thinking PE Mod or axle back PE - how do these options compare with Corsa/Magnaflow?

Hey I'M THE OP. Just got Corsa Catback installed. I heard the Magnaflow isn't as good. Corsa is definitely great, low grumble with sick sound at full throttle. Also, no drone, which I think Corsa spends R&D on.

Thank you OP. Do you have other mods like DP? Since I am not planning on changing the OE DP, I am interested if the Corsa is loud enough on its own.

Stock downpipes and it sounds great. Not a fan of axle backs they just change sound not performance. I cant imagine it sounding better with downpipes just louder? I hear gurgles and pops on downshifts now(automatic) and sounds very import sporty now. I can email you a sound clip...
