I bought my first dash cam.. not really being happy with suction cup mount or other mounting options I took it to my own...

I have not seen this yet so I'll share..

There is a ton of room in the black housing on the rear view mirror..

- I bought a flat mount
-:Trimmed it to fin inside the housing
- Drilled a hole using a step bit
- Used double sided tape on half of the mount and stuck it to the side that attaches to the mirror (the right side)
- re-installed

I'm currently working on running the wires to it. I plan on sneaking then in the housing.. this camera has a rear camera so I have two wires to run...
