Replacing headlight lens

hey everyone, so I hit a damn dear on the way to work today. amazingly the only damage was a cracked headlight lens. I spent the morning reading through old posts and looking on ebay. I found these..

But I noticed there are 2 styles for the same year E92, they call one "before facelift" and another "after facelift"

I'm new to BMWs, what does that mean and am I ordering the right ones?

I have the adaptive headlights if that makes a difference

If you signature is correct and you have an 07 then you have before facelift(pre-lci), pre-lci for coupes are from 07-10 and after facelift (lci) are from 10-13

Ok, after I looked closer my headlight is pretty much trashed. Can I swap them out with non responsive ones? Is it plug and play?
