Hey nivedh, did you see any other changes after updating besides this? Reason being that my car is at the stealership now, and if there are a couple of changes I will ask them to update it.

Did you notice any improvements when you updated your DME? I see an update available for my DME but am not sure it is necessary to update it.

Also that new Kombi logo update doesn't seem to be available for my 07 328 :-( (winkph is showing the same zb number compared to my UIF zb number)

I have not noticed anything. That said, I haven't taken any logs. I will do that and see if the engine is running differently in any way.

Does anyone know for '07 328i if there's a DME update? Probably from the dealer for better performance?

There is a dme update..see my post in this thread.

I to have an 07 328. I am trying to find out what the changes were to the latest update. I doubt it has anything to do with performance.

got my DDE/DME updated fine...but cant find a matching ZUSB when i enter the zb.

that was the same for my DDE/DME but i tried different zb numbers within DDE604 until i found the matching hardware assembly number. Flashed the correct one and all is A-OK.

do you know what module i should be using when i click "choose zusb" or "update zusb"? any help is much appreciated, thanks.

First of all, car should be hooked up via cable (playing safe with soft only won't work). You should use "update zusb" then choose right (or close enough) ECU module (e.g. MSV80 or smth; there will be no zb numbers available, system will choose the suitable one for you automatically), enter VIN, press done and then program. It will tell you that firmware with the newest possible zb is available (or same # if not) and ask you to proceed. Until you proceed, there is no worries - you can cancel everything (just if you're checking the right ECU or is update available). But if you proceeded - cross fingers and wait until everything is done.

You can't have optical connection to DME and KOMBI. You should use ICOM, it's much faster and you're on the safe side.

You're right, I meant OPS or ICOM.

Update KOMBI.
You can also change the symbol in the Kombi. I can't remember the code but it's a change from wert 1 to wert 2 or vice versa.
