*Urgent* What plugs/gap needed for tuned N55? OEM continues to break in 5th/6th gear!
OEM plugs keep on breaking and causing misfires. Which plugs are needed to prevent this?
Logs: http://datazap.me/u/youaremyworld/lo...og=0&data=3-21 Log 2: http://datazap.me/u/youaremyworld/lo...og=0&data=3-21 Log 3 (multiple logs in one): http://datazap.me/u/youaremyworld/lo...og=0&data=3-21 Plugs keep on breaking when in 5th/6th gear and pushing foot down at cruising speeds when at 60mph/2,000-2,500rpm! (I've read that most plugs that are used in the N54 can be used for the N55 as well). Thank you! ![]() |

How were they? I'm getting corrections on my logs as well on new OEM plugs so I definitely need to replace them -- was thinking of NGK gapped at .02

Also, Ken (WedgePerformance/my Tuner) recommends gapping to .018", but unfortunately I wasn't aware of that until after installation. I personally should be fine since I'm on stock turbo (N55), but you High Boost N54 guys would probably be best served gapping to .018" as a "replace and forget" mentality. Here's a log: http://datazap.me/u/youaremyworld/lo...42-43-44-45-46 Running aggressively on feeble 91 ACN octane. Car feels very strong and happy, but we're not quite done yet. |

Our cali gas sucks. I run stage 1 and was getting a lot of corrections. My car was much happier when I switched to costco 91 because there could be up to 10% ethanol in it

Costco is also Top Tier Gas, so definitely better then other stations. I think Chevron may be in your area too, also Top Tier.
