Question Best spark plugs now that NGK 5992 is cancelled? MHD Stage 2+

Hello,

So I can't seam to find much information about the plugs people are running now that the 5992's have been "updated", from what I've read people experience problems with the replacement plugs 95770 after only a few miles.

Is it time to go for the N55 plugs instead?

Plenty of peeps are running the "new" NGK 95770 with no issues; me included.

If you want a step colder, go with the NGK 97506; doubt you're making enough power to justify it though.

I've been running 95770's with 21psi of boost for almost 1yr. They need to be gapped very precisely, just like every other single-pronged plug you'd put in this engine.

Thanks, all I could find was bad reviews of the 95770 and that got me worried.

I started to play around a little with the thought of the 97506 but also doubt that I'm making enough power for those, I read on BMS that they are standard in N20 and S55 though.

I run stock plugs but we've sold dozens and dozens of the 95770 with nothing reported as an issue. I wonder if these so called issues are just gaps that need to be tightened up because they are pushing some big power?

97506 has been solid for me so far. gapped at .020 and haven't had any issues. Before those, I ran the 95770s gapped at .022 and never had any issues either.
