Coding issue, stumped...

My Windows 10 laptop works just fine, I can code my buddy's E92 M3 or my Z3 but it doesn't work on my 07 335xi. The strange part is, it worked just fine a couple of months ago, I coded a few things (disable headlight washers, turned off front corners, DRLs, etc), even flashed the Alpina B3 transmission code but now it just doesn't work. When connecting with INPA to the ECU, I get ERROR_INCORRECT_ECU_ID, when connecting to the transmission, I get "requested control unit not found", when connecting to the gauge cluster, I get SYS-0012: IDENTIFICATION ERROR. The black balls for battery and ignition are working and I can read codes with my OBD-WIFI dngle on my iPhone so I know the port works.

I didn't change a thing since it worked last (I have a JB4 but I also had that when I flashed the transmission).

I noticed that the signal ground pin on the cable was bent, looked at the OBD connector of the car and it looked funny so I got another one on ebay and installed it, still not working.

I'm out of ideas, anyone have any suggestions?

Make sure JB4 is in map 0. Double check latency didn't change back to 16.

The tools work fine on the E92 and Z3 so I don't think reinstalling will do it, latency is 1 but I haven't set the JB4 map to 0, trying that next..

JB4 map 0 did it!
Can't believe that that would prevent INPA from connecting to anything in the car..

Thanks for the tip.
