TIRAs E90 335i

Better late than never

Hey guys!

Always been a jap guy since I started driving (Toyota and Lexus), decided to jump on the euro bandwagon after my mate took me for a drive in his E91 335i back when I was in New Zealand, now 2 years later and decided to buy my first car in Australia.. despite knowing the issues and common issues... I still bought myself a E90 M Sport 335i. Risky move.. But I do like the car!

Not looking at crazy mods or after any power increase, I'm happy the way it is right now.

So far owning the car, there have been issues but majority of the main ones were replaced under dealership warranty. I don't really mind doing the preventive maintenance since I bought the car completely stock, reasonably cheaper compared to other E90s + 1 year warranty!

This is what I have done so far!

Preventive Maintenance
  • Spark Plugs
  • Coil Packs
  • Walnut Blasting Thanks to vtl
  • Air Filter
  • Brake Fluid Flush
  • Oil Service
  • Cabin Filter
  • Brake Pads
  • Oil Filter Housing Gasket
  • Oil Filter Cooling Gasket
  • Rocker Cover Gasket
  • Transmission (A/T) Replacement Kit
I'm surprised the price for some of the parts are actually cheaper compared to what I paid for Japanese parts... If you know where to buy them.

The car had already been recalled for Battery lead, but no HPFP... I called BMW and said it wasn't needed in Australia??

Failed / Problems
  • Waterpump+Thermostat (Replaced under warranty)
  • Alternator+Voltage Regulator (Replaced under warranty+New Battery)
Modifications
  • German "Angry" Eyelids (This is what the seller calls it, lmao)
  • Dual fin Grille
  • Re-tint 35% Rear Passenger +18% Rear
  • LED Angel Eyes Thanks donR
  • Weathershield
  • Enkei T6S 18 x 9.5 +35 all around (On its way!)
Cheers to...
Socket for the OBD Cable
GerryH for the free 2014 Map!

If you see me on the road, please say hi! I won't bite
