Injector code IMA error not accepted
Hi,
I replaced injector on x5 35d. Bosch part with 7 character code, A6MBIMZ Tried i, 1, and L, for the ambiguous I. Rheingold (both 3.51 and 4.04) says not OK, but the default aaaaa5g it says to use if not saving works OK. Tried tool 32, that would say error_wrong_ima_code Only code that sometimes pops up is for the aux pump for heater but that's been there. Also, in Rheingold I can't find the option that shows the injector balance compensation. I see the option FUB only which is what describes the process and steps to take but the actual "abl"test is not there?!? As I also work with vw, I kind of dislike the way bmw software works. It's also funky in how it detects errors, like this fault was not specific to say a ground, it just would stall out the car randomly. |

Fixed it, turns out there are 2 sets of 7digit/letter codes on the injector! Confusing Germans
![]() A cheap usb endoscope came in handy to get the codes by the injector nut. The smooth running control is tucked inside troubleshooting, service units, not very intuitive if you were used to vag com I know inpa is more basic like vag com, buy I could never get the ecu script to work... Dde73n57c0 gives me errors... Maybe is windows 10 fault Last edited by robnitro; 04-04-2017 at 07:26 AM.. |
