I was 16 in 1989.... what a time for cars! A lot of crazy looking ones too. I remember the M3 and the Sierra RS Cosworths back then...

As a engineer for a small bmw motorsport company i work alot on the S54 engines and i visit the circuit quite regularly but it always gives me goosebumps whenever i hear the lovely induction sound of the S14.
One day i was on Zolder in Belgium, in the early morning with the sun rising there was a ex E30 DTM doing his laps. The only car on the track at that moment. You could hear it over the complete track, never gonna forget that moment. Thank you BMW, for the S54 and the S14! |
