e93's driving in winter, how are u washing your car?
hi...
new e93 owner. just went through my first touchless car wash... and oh man.. what a disaster. the first pressure pass was fine.. the 2nd... water pissing between the a-pillar and roof. i'm assuming the seals simply can't take the amount of pressure coming out. so those of u who are driving through these winter months... how are u washing your cars? ...and please don't preach that you're a man and washing it by hand outside.. i really don't want to hear it. thanks. fyi.. if this is a common question.. i apologize .. but i tried the search and it's giving me some sort of "memory overflow error."

Mine leaks from the same places. They replaced the seal once and nothing change so I will just learn to live with it. When I took delivery the dealer did warned me about touchless car wash or using a power washer so that is not a surprise.
I will continue to use touchless car wash, just have to bring some paper towels (or get some from the fueling island) to wipe it up. For mine it's usually just 10 to 15 drops on each side so it is really no big deal. An alternative is to use those hand washing places that are inside indoor parking lots, such as the one at Toronto City Hall.

i wash once a week/two weeks depending on how dirty car is; i go to a 'do it yourself' place, henry's car wash, $3 for 3 minutes. but i clean my wheels twice a week with the bmw gel they sell in the parts department. i hate salt!
