Help With Carly Codes!
My ABS lights and air bag lights came on pretty much the same time, also when I brake and steer I hear probably the ABS kicking in.
Bought a Carly and ran my first diagnostic report! Came up with: Motor Control: Engine / Motor Message failure Code: 0049F2 ABS / DSC / Brake: Dynamische Stabilitaets Kontrolle / DSC Rear right direction detection Code: 005DC6 Speed Sensor Front Left Code: 005D93 Airbag: Advanced Crash and Safety Management (ACSM) speed signal missing Code: 0093FB So do you think this relates to say a faulty ABS wheel speed sensor?...will throw the Airbag fault up too? I tried clearing these codes but they are still there, they never disappeared, but I guess logically if they are real faults they are never going to disappear as the car will run a check every time it starts up? Thanks for any advice! |

Just to provide an update...two new ABS sensors and all was well.
Many thanks as usual to Mark at MJF Engineering, a font of BMW mechanical and electrical knowledge. If anyone is in the Dorking area and needs a superb independent toattend their car Marks your man. |
