BC Coilovers bouncy?

Just bought a set of BC br racing coilovers for my 2007 328i. Been driving around with them for about a month now when I first installed them the ride was stiff later figured out I had it on the hardest dampening setting now i am currently 6 clicks from the softest setting but the ride is super bouncy anyone have experience with these? The ride quality is just as bad as my old civic with lowering springs and stock shocks lol. Tried adjusting the dampening settings and hasn't really done much justice anything else I'm missing? I heard the preload might have something to do with the bouncy but read up that the preload is mostly for track day use?

Make sure you preload them correctly

Preload won't help with ride quality. It's a linear spring so preload doesn't change spring rate or anything.

Define bouncy. Is it that you hit a bump and the car keeps moving? Or is it just stiff? How much have you adjusted the damping? The 32 adjustments don't really do much at each click so you have to adjust a lot.

Personally, I don't think BC matches the dampers well with their spring rates. I have BCs on my Infiniti and V3's on my 335. My Infiniti is bouncy too and I've just learned to live with it. Swapped out the springs already which helped some but not entirely and I'm not going to the trouble of having custom revalved shocks for budget coilovers.

Preload to an extent affect ride quality Sag o the vechile. But if it's really bouncy spring rate is right. What spring rate on your set up

One thing we've learned with the YCW's is to replace the upper and lower mounts/bushings (PN Monroe 907984 & 907985).
