Can't communicate with E60 MASK Module

I'm having some trouble using NCS Expert on my E60, and I figured someone here might know the answer. I believe the E90 also used the modules in question, so someone may know what's going on.

I'm trying to code some options on a 2008 528i. I have a D+CAN cable which seems to work correctly; I can successfully access every module except for MASK. When I try to read from or code to the MASK module, I get an IFH-0009 error. If I try to communicate with MASK in INPA, it tells me that CHAMP was found instead. I can access the CHAMP module in INPA if I select it from another chassis. However NCS Expert only gives me MASK in the ECU list, not CHAMP. When I first select MASK, it lists MASK_E60.C05, A_E65MMI.IPO, MASK_60.PRG as the files to use. After I try and fail to read from it, it switches to CHAMPE70.C33, A_E65MMI.IPO, CHAMP.PRG. It then continues to fail to read from it using those files.

Any ideas on how to get it to talk to CHAMP instead? I'm hoping to code out the legal disclaimer and remove weatherband from the radio. I can communicate with CHAMP using ISTA+D, but I don't believe you can do that type of coding there.

I've tried with v59 and v50.2 daten files, same errors with both.
