RB turbos, how much PSI can they handle?

How much PSI can the stock and RB/stage 2 turbos handle without being super unreliable?

With or without smoking, that is the question?

W the hybrids it's all about longevity. People have pushed big numbers and big boost pressure through stock frames...almost always resulting in long term failure.

My sense (I've never run RBs personally, to be clear) has always been to keep them under 550whp if you want them to last. Boost is just a measure of pressure/restriction in a system; it doesn't tell you much about airflow or expected power w/out knowing the comp/turbine/housing specs.

With inlets i would guess 550whp would require about 23psi. That sound about right?

In candor i'm not sure - have never run RBs on my car. Inlets'll let them breath better up top, but I can't speak first-hand to the estimated boost pressure reqd. to make that power.
