328i 2009 Aftermarket Radio

Looking for ideas and or help. I am want to replace my factory BMW Pro radio as the display is going out and there is no current bluetooth available in my car right now (even though buttons are in the steering wheel and radio)

the problem i am having is that although there are some cool ideas ideas out there with even touch screen. My car currently has heated seats. And that is where my bump is. So i am looking for suggestions or inexpensive ideas to change my factory radio for my 328i Xdrive with heated seats.

Thank you in advance!

Changing out the Head Unit is generally not favored due to side effects.
Such as BMW will not be able to run diagnostics or do software upgrades
without the original head unit installed. For this reason some do a parallel
mount or a parallel system . Things such as PDC , Sos or Sat radio wll
cease to work or cause error's

Generally BMW does not go with cheap.
Also if you have the Logic 7 sound system there is only
one Head Unit that is compatible and that the Dynavin
N6.

There is a way to move the button with heater control strip to the ashtray. Dynavin makes a kit for that.

thank you for all the information. Would you recommend any aftermarket radios. $700 seems a little pricey for a radio.

If you get into something with a screen and Nav it gets pricey.
Before you go any further you need to identify your sound system
and I don't mean the Head Unit I mean the amp and speakers
or lack of amp and speakers, because if you have L7 you are stuck.
Some guys are throwing in cheap Android Units from China I don't
know anything about those other than they are cheap relatively .
There are plenty of good Alpine , Pioneer and mainstream single dins
but if you go into the screened Nav stuff the price doubles or more
for some quality. And most of it looks pretty crappy in a BMW dash.

The display is easily repaired there are kits for it(pro radio) .
If you want to add features you might consider something
like the Dension gateway 500s bt.
Or vist the Bluetooth and Nexus 7 thread.

I've just purchased the EONON CA71650 + V0056 for only US$279
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/361951265...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

- Android 6.0
- Quad core CPU
- 16GB memory
- 7" HD screen
- OBD2 diagnostics!

Will do a thread on it when I do the install.
