I found a 335d I am interested in buying (if everything checks out) in the 63109 area. I'm an east-coaster, and would like to have a local BMW aficionado check it out before I fly out only to discover I've been deceived by a dealer.

Your best bet is to probably have the owner drop it off at bimmersrus for a PPI. They are super close to that zipcode and do good work.

Thanks, definitely looks like they know their BMW's. They're actually on the same road as the car I'm looking at. I actually found a good local car, but if that falls through I'll definitely give them a call and see if they can check the car over for me.

Thanks for the offer! I actually decided to go a different path. Too many little sketchy things, like the rep wheels, carfax/autocheck inconsistency (carfax is clean as per dealer, autocheck on CarGurus claims a different story), and the fact that its been for sale for nearly 3 months without a sale, or at the very least, price drop.

Who knows though, it may be a good car, I just never got a chance to check it out in person. I actually ended up buying a local 335d m-sport instead.
