NBT FSC without ESYS

Hey guys,

just a quick question... I am about to develop some tools written by myself to automate the generation of a FSC on both CIC and NBT cars, refer to my topic showthread.php?p=21608284.

Do you know a way to get the 319 byte FSC information from an NBT car without ESYS? Or alternatively, do you know what interface (maybe serial) ESYS makes use of and what protocol they use?

Thanks a lot for your help

Hi, I think you can do this with Dr. Gini

It's a very good piece of software, can pretty much do everything.

Access would be through EDIABAS - check out this lib https://github.com/uholeschak/ediabaslib

I don't know off hand, but I would look to see what is accessible through NBT.prg

I've accessed NBT.prg via both ENET, and ODB interfaces, through tool32. I don't know if all jobs are accessible through the ODB connection or not. If you are able to use the ODB connection to access a suitable job in NBT.prg, then that would (I think) mean that you could access if via a bluetooth ODB connection, if only accessible through the ENET connection, then I think it would require the ODB<->ENET cable.

I hadn't done any looking into this, until you asked the question, but does look pretty easy.
