Off to San Fran on Tuesday for a week for work ...Mrs coming with for a holiday.
Anyone been and can suggest things to do? I've booked Alcatraz tour for the Saturday which should be fun.

Good luck, maybes invest in a pair of bullet proof vests for yourself & your missus. Apparently crime rates are 142% higher than the national average

Been a few times and never had a problem.
Alcatraz is great fun and do the self walk tour with the headphones, while you are that way have a meal at Fishermans Wharf and just past there in a small courtyard is a tiny Ice Cream Shop that I think is the best in SF. Obvious things to do are a trolley ride Golden Gate Bridge and Union Square, loads to do and hundreds of Restaurants, breakfast is good in Lori's Dine, have a great time whatever you do.
