Need advice on upgrading BMW
Wanting to sell my FBO BMW 335i (67K miles) and buy another car for roughly the same price. I'm thinking I could sell my BMW 335i and buy a 2011 BMW 535i or 550i with similar mileage for $1-2K more. Reason being that I need a car with more room for car seats and the 2 kids. What do people recommend / think? I already have an X5 so not looking for another SUV.
Also, in terms of tuning should I go for the 535i or 550i?

The 535i has the same engine as the 2010- 335i which is the n55 engine im not familiar with the 550i as it is n63 v8 but I know for sure that the n55 engine has more support with mods

Stay away from N63's. There's so many issues with those engines.

Are you referring to the n63 campaign? I bought a 2012 X5 50i, had the n63 campaign and haven't had any issues with it... ?

I would stay away from any N63 powered cars.. A friend of mine has a 550i and he's had to replace turbos, coolant lines, turbo oil lines all under 30k miles. Sounds a bit excessive to me. Another close friend of mine that works for BMW as a tech says they get N63 cars for repairs everyday.
