It's amazing how clean this diesel is! NOTE: I never cleaned the inside of this exhaust!

Mine seems to develop a brown residue around the exits but the inside remains very clean. I suspect she is not using enough toilet roll - dirty b*t&h!!!

Yours is certainly cleaner than mine, but what i have noticed is that the petrol 335 has more soot in the exhaust than the 335d.

I'm also suffering from brown ring, mainly at the bottom.

Regards

Chris

I also have that sometimes, but thats easy to clean when you wash the car...

But I am very surprised to see how clean it it on the inside! That's definitely some advanced exhaust

23 000 miles of exhaust perfection eh

mine doesnt collect any kind of engine/carbon grime, just a bit of road muck , thats easily kept on top of with the sunday afternoon clean

i agree it is amazing the way diesel cars have developed, over the last few years especially. i still have a few freinds who look down on me for 'driving a dirty tractor' if thats the case they must be pretty embarassed at been blown off by a one as none of them can keep up with me

so yes at 4 000 miles i still have 2 very sparkling rings

my exhaust is clean that end, but still wonder whether a small amount of diesel exhaust smell around the front catalytic converter / FAP (Next to the Turbos) is normal. Dealer said yes.. I still am not convinced.

Steve, you n'owt better to do luv than wonder about my pipes. Thanks for your heartfelt concern though - got a letter from the NHS today confirming me pipes all appear normal. Always a relief.
