ASBSECU E93, you must also have a time slip with the 1/4 mile speed. Can you post your slip as well? Posting a time slip of an event is normal practice when stating you achieved a certain speed/time.

Second - last time I posted a time slip - I was questioned/grilled for weeks, so that's a no on the time slip.

And the official times are noted by Wannagofast. Plus I have video evidence of the run/time...

~10 hour round trip. Too much time to invest for something like that.

What kind of setup do you run in your 335d? I've run my 335is at a few of the Wannagofast events (Clayton and Ocala) and I hit 145 regularly. It's surprising the number of cars you can outrun at that speed that you'd think were faster.

FBO, stock turbos, E60, custom MHD flash. I trap 122-123 @ the drapstrip on street tires with no launch. About 5 mph less at the Wannagofast events because the traction is always horrible.

Full results from Saturday and Sunday....Again - not unhappy with the little D compared to several much more expensive and much higher HP cars.

Scrolling through the list, and based on the times posted - the little D kept would have been right with F10 M5's, some Vette's, Shelby GT500 Mustangs, 2017 X5M, a Merk AMG GTS, a Viper, a EVO, and even a stock GTR!!

And I'll bet not one of these cars that was driven to and from the event got 40(ish) MPG down/back either

I would highly recommend these type events to anyone with a tuned 335d. The car simply keeps pulling like crazy well beyond the 1/2 mark, so the acceleration just keeps coming until you let off the throttle.

I'll run this car again next year at the NC 1/2 mile, possibly hit the Heaven's Landing 1/2 mile, and will try to hit a No Fly Zone rolling 1/2 mile (Midwest stop) if anyone is wanting to attend as a spectator or participant, LMK. I have a large tent for shade from the elements and would be more than happy to share space with a fellow D owner.

Agreed. The all around combination of capabilities is what I enjoy about this platform.
