JB4 not working

So I've had my JB4 Stg 2 installed for over 2 years and it randomly started getting hiccups and engine malfunction and SES lights the other night and now JB4 seems to be freezing or not working at all when I try using the steering wheel controls. After trying to enter into map selection 5-10 times it eventually works, but I cannot go into any other menu and then it usually freezes the gauges. The car is running like crap and wont stay running. Checked the connections and all seem to be fine. Anyone have this issue. Is my board getting ready to be completely fried? ANY HELP APPRECIATED!

If you're sure the power wire and ground are good then email BMS. If the board is bad they should have no problem replacing it for you.

Try cleaning your CAN wires with some alcohol and a paper towel. They can get pretty gunked up with the glue from the covers, which will interfere with the connection.

I'll try that, that's also what BMS suggested after I sent them the codes

Cleaned the connections again and made sure all of the settings were at "default" settings, re loaded hex file. Idk if it was moisture on some wires or something, it seemed to just work after letting the car sit for a couple days in the garage lol, never pin pointed it

Ahh, the good old "let it sit and hope it goes away" technique

Lol send a prayer to the man upstairs. But hey, it worked! I'm pretty sure it had something to do with moisture or something. I don't have the "cowl" or the OEM cabin air filter on , I have just the BMS mini filters. Seemed to happen when I'd wash the car without the cowl on and all the water run down into the engine bay and over the DME

Shouldn't be moisture for me but who knows. I replaced my board less than a month ago and replaced my harness less than 6 months ago. I shipped it to BMS to have it looked at.
