ContiProcontact SSR vs. Bridgestone Driveguard
I recently switched from stock Bridgestone EL42's to Driveguards, and am noticing a lot more road noise and road feel, especially at my feet. It is almost vibrating at the pedals and footrest. I did have them re-balanced so it is not a balancing issue.
The shop will allow me to switch to a different tire if I wish, so I am wondering if the Continental Procontact SSR would be a better choice? Any advice? |

The latest iteration of the SSR is the "5" version - felt much better to me than the stock (no number designation) that came with my 2011 E90 (7-2011 build date). The 5 SSR also includes their sealant to help with small leaks - tire is also bit lighter than most other run flats.
