Hello everyone,

I am looking to improve my sound/audio quality, I currently have Focal K2 ES100k and Rainbow's in the rear (These are running from stock HU), the focals and the underseat Focal subs are running off JL Xd400/4 amp.

They sound really good but I have demoed some audio showroom test cars and they all seem to have Audison Bit Ten DSP, is it worth upgrading to a DSP, can someone shed some light if it's night and day difference, also what exactly does a DSP do?

I did start with BASE stereo and honestly I don't know if the EQ has been fixed or not, took it to a local Audio shop.

Is there a way to fix the eq?

The eq is fixed by
Either by recoding the Radio or Idrive to HI Fi or using a DSP.
Most of the common stereo shops won't know how
to do a BMW correctly.

Suggest that you get yourself a Match PP62 amplifier that can take the mid/high & underseats. Use the Pre-out for your JL that you bridge to your bass.
then you get your a
bmw coded to 'Hi-Fi' and get the DSP adjusted by a skilled installer to fit your sound taste.

will make a good system
