They really need to comb over their website... that's one heck of a power downgrade for 2017.

Would have been so much easier if I would have settled for an automatic, but well worth it!

Agree. Absolutely decimated an SRT Challenger (stock) in a roll race the other day.

Thanks, I am going to let it break before any real shenanigans. At least with the same 275 tires all the way around, I can rotate the tires unlike on the 335

I have a 335i with catless downpipes, JB4, fresh spark plugs, walnut blasting of intake valves, newer fuel injectors and coils. The Challenger isn't even broken in yet, so I haven't been able to completely wring it out but the 392 is no doubt faster. You were either the better driver and/or the Challenger wasn't going all out - possibly, combination of both.

Also, the lease payments on a Hellcat would be damn near twice what I am paying plus a dramatic increase for insurance.

Never understood why a car has to be the absolute fastest vehicle on earth in order to be deemed worthy by this crowd. Just because faster vehicles exist does not mean the car is slow. Plus, can't you just drive a car you like? One of the most fun cars I've owned was a 2008 VW GTI which did 0-60 in nearly 7 seconds. Something to be said about a car that let's you row through all the gears without committing a felony.

BUGATTI OR IT'S SHIT!!!!!! lol

waiting for someone to say their 335 walked a Chiron...
Well said! One of my favorite cars was my first new car, a 2003 Jetta TDI 5-speed. Even with the tune, it wasn't fast compared to a stock 335i but I loved driving it.

Also, if we went with only the fastest, the Hellcat is no good any more now that the Challenger Demon came out (840 horses, does 0-60 in 2.3 seconds, and hits the quarter-mile in 9.65 at more than 140 mph)!

It's not hard to make a 335 fast. Mine was in the 12s with just Cobb AP & BMS DCI. Challenger is what 12s stock? Yea, so...

I gotta say you have kept a great attitude even with a lot of these nay sayers. After all, this is the NON-BMW section, is it not?

I test drove a 6mt 392 challenger recently and it was wicked awesome. Chirping the tires in 3rd gear with that V8 roaring away was a great experience. Just make sure to have a healthy stash of classic rock with you

Thanks man, I am used to the abuse. I am still breaking it in but will experience 3rd gear tire chirping soon enough

It's a nearly 500hp muscle car. That's like asking a linebacker to do ballet.

I know you have never driven one.

Can you toss it around like a 1-series? No. But it is not scared of some twisties either. This one has the dynamics package which includes forged 9.5" wide wheels with Pirelli UHPAS 275-width tires all the way around and 6-piston Brembo brakes.

Weight with the manual transmission with dynamics package is ~4200lbs. Camaro and Mustangs are about 300 lbs lighter.
