07 335i electrical short please help

I have a 07 335i that was running good for 3yrs. I installed the jb4 , chargepipe, dual cone intake about 1yr into having my bimmer. Everything running good til I took it to Arizona couple months back. Smelled some funny coming from my air vents but it came and went with no warning lights coming out. Then the dreadful day came when my computer screen said loss of power n went into limp mode drove it straight home parked it for the night. Woke up in the morning and car did not start up. So I started to look for that funny smell , pulled off glove box n bam my plug to my blower motor was burnt to crisp. I replaced the blower unit, plug, bought new junction box electronics ,n battery becuase car didn't want to hold charge. Got the car to crank but doesn't want start can someone please give me some advice. My friend told me to take it to the dealer so they could hook it up to a "breakout box" whatever that is. Car is throwing a electrical code , fuel pump starts, interior light n everything works but car won't start. Where do I go from here? New wire harness? Dme? please help

Did you ever have the recall done on the battery cable that can degrade?
