help with H1 1992 Cummins conversion

Hello I need some help please. I am looking for a reputable company that does H1 Cummins 6.7 conversion with Allison transmission and several other mods like suspensions, tires, various mechanical work. Any thoughts?

Not sure if these guys would work for your project but they have built the best diesel swaps I've ever seen and they do custom projects.

Thank you I believe their website is down for now.

Any good vibes from https://www.bigdogoffroad.com

I believe it is owned by Eric Ward.

Are you dropping it in that X5M. More torque is always good.

Dieselsellerz.com

They also have a tv show "diesel bros" or something like that. They build some pretty cool trucks and I think they have done some H1's.

They have a YouTube channel too promoting some of the vehicles they have done.

I have more than enough on my X5M

I own a H1 and I want to use it as a daily driver instead of my ///M

I understand the attraction to the allison transmission but why not consider hitting the easy button here and going with the G56 MT or the Aisin and xfer case that the 6.7 cummings is spec'd with

That will make your life a whole lot easier and less expensive

Excellent point! my guess is that it could be due to the weight of the truck (which is north of 7000 lbs)?

I will be sure to ask Bigdogoffroad.com

That 6.7 cummins with either the G56 or Aisin are stock trannies on the 1 ton RAM which weighs 8000lbs and will carry an additional 4k in the bed comfortably and tow north of 16k

Either option will handle it all day/every day

If you were to choose the G56 MT the only thing I would upgrade is the clutch/flywheel to a south bend clutch/FW and ditch the dual mass stock solution

Look up plan b supply, they rebuild real humvees. I think they start just under 30k, but 50k will get you the most options

Where are you located? A few of my friends are Duramax and Cummins gurus. If there is a kit, this isn't a tough conversion at all. PM me if you want more info.
