BMW to Audi

After many many years of BMW ownership, I have recently joined the dark side and bought a Audi...a MK2 TTS
Can't believe how much fun this car is and the Quattro system is amazing! It really is a joy to actually drive it and for me personally, a better drive compared to the M3 I had (as mad as that sounds).

If only BMW did something similar (E86 Z4 came close but a little dated, E89 Z4 nice but not my cup of tea).

Congrats! I miss my quattro platform dreadfully, I really enjoyed my car not trying to kill me/put me in a ditch when going through a bend.

You'll really enjoy the winter too

Nice, the MK2 is an improvement but it still has the whiff of a hair dressers car

I did the same went from the 335i to the RS3. unbelievable power and acceleration but must admit lacks the refinement and options of the BMW.

The urge for BMW was still strong for me so I chopped the TTS in for a lovely E63 LCI 630i.

The Audi Quattro system is stunningly amazing though!

Enjoy the RS3!!

The only reason I'd go to Audi is to experience their Quattro.

WTF surely there is a forum rule about bragging about those hatefull Audis!

Surprised you found it more fun than the M3 though; E46 or E90?

Just sold a nicely prepped Z4 M Coupe and that was just about the most exiting car to own as a daily ever... and honestly the very worst town car in the world.

TBH I used to have a big fat A8 with a juicy 4.2 TDI Twin Turbo diesel and whilst it was not exactly sporty, and whilst I am a BMW die hard, it was far far better looking than any gashly Merc or buggers 7 series and I also know that I will never ever have a more comfortable car (double glazzing ang propper B&O).

Its good to try other brands sometimes. To me though, it just reassures me that Beemers re the most fun

Love 6 series. Old one or new one? I still have wet Dreams of that V10... Thats 1 itch I'm not sure I'll ever stratch.

Not surprised about the E90 M3. Lots of Pistonheaders said the same thing which is why I went for the Z4MC. Recently tried a friends RS4 saloon (B7 I think). Lovely V8, but frankly certainly does not have 420 bhp and is frankly no more fun (apart from the noise) than my boring E91 330D XDrive. OK I'm exajerating just a little but not by much.

Got to say though Audi defninately have the edge on design. Far better looking than anything BMW makes at the moment... I feel they've really got boring and too stuck in nitty gritty delail since the Bangle era...
