I ditched Cobb as soon as MHD was available for N55. I’m much happier now and the car is running very well.

For the logs i generally ask for the following (unless im looking for something else specific):
****DSC Completely turned off for all logging**** 1. normal driving acceleration from a dead stop up to cruising speed and cuise for like 20-30 seconds. 2. 3rd and a 4th gear WOT pull from 2800-3000rpms start point up to about 6500rpms 3. a third gear shifting into 4th gear WOT pull. starting in 3rd gear around 3500rpms or so. once in 4th hold WOT for about 3-4 seconds and let off. (this checks post shift timing recovery). Please include the following parameters in yours logs: Accel Ped. Pos. Berechnetes Ist-Moment in der Funktionsüberwachung Boost Boost target Boost Target Ex Fuel mode Gear IAT Lambda bank 1 LTFT MAF Oil temp Rail pressure mean RPM STFT 1 Throttle Position Timing Cyl. 1 Torque act. clutch WGDC Boost setpoint factor Cyl1 Timing Cor Cyl2 Timing Cor Cyl3 Timing Cor Cyl4 Timing Cor Cyl5 Timing Cor Cyl6 Timing Cor Load actual Load req MAF req. WGDC WGDC After PID WGDC base WGDC Spool Yes i ask for 4th gear pulls, but are at the owners discretion. Why? 4th gear gives the most data and most accurate viewpoint of what boost is doing. There are a few other reasons as well. But i understand some people dont like doing 4th gear pulls because of the speed logged at that gear. In that even 3rd gear would suffice. |
