Just Ordered 330i -- Errors on BMW Order CPTR

I just got back from ordering my new 330i. I'm so excited. I was at the dealership picking up my friends new 325i. Had lots of fun trying the Bluetooth link. It worked PERFECTLY with my Motorola E815 from Verizon. Phonebook transferred just great.

Question: I went onto the BMW Online Owners Circle and tracked my Order. The COLOR of the car is wrong. My written copy of my Order has the CORRECT color.

Now I have read here not to be upset if the BMW System has the wrong options. Does that also apply to a wrong color too?

I called my dealer to make sure the color is right. But, just wanted to know whether I should not worry.

Thanks for your replies. (This is my 3rd BMW. I had a 740 and a 528. Driving a MBZ E320 right now.)

Don't worry about it. Everyone that goes through the ordering system has the same experience. In my case, it showed the wrong color the 1st week, then it had the right one and the options never showed up. When I got my car, it was perfect. :rocks:

the color will fix itself within 2 days. I ordered Alpine WHite and owners circle said it was Monaco Blue the first 2 days after the order.

Thanks SO much. I can relax now. I know you all can imagine the nightmare of happily driving down to the dealer after waiting 3 months and walking up to find the wrong colored car.... Ouch ! !

That would be bad.

Last Question: I don't really like hard rides and the 330i without sport pkg actually has the 325 sport pkg tires (225 45's). Is it really going to be a harsh ride?

Thanks for all your help. It's going to be nice having a BMW again.

I have the 330xi with the sports package and the 18 in wheels and it's not a hard ride. I guess it all depends on what you like.

THe first color you see (most of the time) is the color the dealer had on that prod.# before you placed your order. It usually takes a few days before it updates with your new specified color.
