Runflat vs Non Runflat question

I am up to 19000 miles on my 06 325i sedan sport/premium. I have debated about which tires to go with. I have not been happy with the ride with the stock bridgestones and will not go back with them. I had almost decided to go with the continental runflats but after reading some of the posts about some of the non runflat options I am not so sure. Does anyone have some advice for me as to what the majority of owners are going with?
Thanks
VandyDoc

No one person can speak for the majority. However, I switched to non-rfts and the ride got better, smoother, and quieter. Plus I bought 4 tires in 19" for almost the price of one RFT rear.

non-RFT is a smoother ride and more quiet IMO. of course, some people might say that you dont have to worry about being stranded some place scary if you have run-flats. just depends on which you value as a priority.

You can go about it a number of ways:

1) Replace your current runflats with the Continental runflats.
2) Replace your current runflats with non-runflat tires of the same size/dimensions.
3) Replace your current wheel/tire setup with 18"-19" with either OEM or aftermarket 18"-19" equivalent wheel/tire set.

One common thing with all of the options is that it would be useful to get the BMW Mobility Set http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...catalogid=4462 for those times you get a flat tire or something.

Like the previous posters said, you will notice the ride to be better and handling to be improved with non-runflat setup. Good luck!
