Cam Ledge

Are cam ledges that are worn similar to this need to be replaced?

This picture is from an ad on eBay where the ad says they have minimal wear, but mine are similar to this. My build date is 08/2008.

The wear on the bottom is normal, but the groove on the top is not. Is it your intake or exhaust cam ledge?
