I have just the muffler delete ... with the engine @ 3K RPMs are enough to set off car alarms while passing by. It does get raspy, but that's when it's cold. It's actually pretty nice when warmed up. I just need to find a way to reduce the drone inside the cabin.

Another thread resurrection lol

I have an e92 335i DCT N54

I have the VRSF catless downpipes and it sounds awesome, would be nice to be slightly louder, however I want to keep the stock exhaust. I feel if I get the VRSF cat back I feel it will be too loud. I'm keen on maybe deleting the secondary cats and keeping the stock exhaust.

Thoughts and opinions please would be much appreciated 😊

I've heard the VRSF exhaust is pretty tame so I guess it depends on what slightly louder is. You might want to consider a PE mod or an actual PE for a little more than the VRSF. If you do delete the secondary cats I would recommend replacing them with Vibrant resonators or else it will be very raspy. A friend of mine had this for a while and it didn't sound good lol

I used Vibrant resonators in my exhaust with muffler delete and it cleaned up the sound: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1221784

Thanks buddy.

I assume the PE is the bmw performance exhaust?
Ideally I don't wanna do any cutting or anything tbh.

Is there a pipe specifically made to replace the second cats and run from the downpipes to the stock muffler?

Thanks again
