Hi guys, I had A buddy that flashed my car while I was fbo stock turbo using the bms e85 flash file....

Only problem is that he actually moved out of state and I'm getting hybrids installed and I need to reflash my car with the bms hybrid flash...

My question is am I able to use my own laptop and just upload it myself?

With BBFlash maybe. JB4 firmware update and DME flashing are 2 different things. JB4 firmware you can update through the laptop or mobile app. For the DME (BEF) you need a flashing app like MHD, BBFlash, etc. and an OBD-II cable. I've not used BBFlash, but they just updated it a lot and finished a beta.

Yea I joined the forum before I bought my 335 I need to update my info.. I double checked with Payam he just messaged me that i can use my own hardware to reflash the car.. Thanks for your input
