That'll Buff Out
Buddy at work had a mysterious rub mark show up on his WRX, we suspect from a careless neighbor at his apartment complex. He was understandably upset about it and didn't want to have to report to his insurance and pay a deductible to get it repaired. I was pretty confident we could get it taken care of without too much drama, so I told him to bring it by my place over the weekend.
First, we washed the area to get the residual chunks/dirt off the paint. Did 3 passes with Meguiars M105 and an orange Lake Country light cutting pad, followed by 2 passes with Meguiars M205 and a white Lake Country polishing pad. Finished with a coat of Meguiars M21 synthetic sealant. I think it came out pretty good!

Looks good and congratulations on a job well done.
The second photo appears to show some horizontal scratch marks in the crease of the bumper that don't appear to be in the first picture - what are they out of interest?? |

They're just reflections from the overhead light inside my garage. First photo was actually taken in the parking lot at work which is why they don't show up in that one.
