With traction control off, everybody spins like that. You would only spin like that if you have no muscle control over your right foot. Anybody with a half-dozen dragstrip passes knows you don't just mash the loud pedal to the floor and expect to go, especially in a 6MT car... Get a moderate launch, and modulate the throttle, mashing it flat 3/4 into 2nd and the rest of the way. Your trap will be close enough.

Hahaha I've been racing for a while, no need to give me a dummy's manual on how to drag race, but thanks for your concern :finger:

Like I said, I will post times up when I go to a decent track.

Could it be that the trap speed is really low, hence, the tune isn't making anywhere near the advertised power?

Maybe a few of you didn't read what I said when I said it the first, second, or third time...??? No times will be posted. Period. The end. This thread is over.

Hmm...I guess that answers that. (Sounds like a great sales pitch with no follow-up results.)

I could care less how many they sell, I'm not making any money off of it... I said I would post up times when I have legit numbers for the power that my car is making, if some of you do not understand that, and it cannot be processed through your heads, then you have a problem that I cannot help you with.

Now I think we can all call b.s. Since you refuse to post your trap speed, it obviously was not that good (btw a stock 335i traps at 104-105mph). However, please know that "better" track conditions won't help you. Enjoy your "tooned"...I mean tuned 335i, brotha. Like I said, your ET says how well you can launch the car and your trap speed tells what kind of power your making. Chevy Z06's may run 11's, but they also trap @ 124+mph...that's a sh!t load of HP/TQ my friend. We've heard SSTT 335i's run high 12's in the 1/4 mi., but they typically trap @ 106-108mph vs. PROcede v2/v3 335i's which may run mid-high 12's, but trap @ 110-114mph; hence, the PROcede 335i's have more HP/TQ even though they may be close in the 1/4 mi. ET.

The mfgr "advertised" HP/TQ and 1/4mi. results of your PES piggyback may be a bit on the overhyped (and basically b.s. imho) side when looking at the vast history of other piggyback tunes that have been around since the 335i was released almost 2 years ago. But, as long as you enjoy your car, then who cares right?

Wrong man, you won't get the right Trap speed if you are spinning, you just simply will not get up to the same speed. Pretty simple to understand.

0-60 Foot Time - 1.98
1/4 Mile Time - 12.59
Trap Speed - 111.81

When I get to a better track like Englishtown or Atco I will post better numbers. Possibly with DRs.

My previous best time with just the Turbo Tuner, no intake, no exhaust was...

0-60 Foot Time - 1.86
1/4 Mile time - 12.84
Trap Speed - 109.81

Because it runs 16psi vs ~12psi with the SSTT

Good times! Timeslips? Oh, you're the guy who had that amazing time with the SSTT that nobody else (with the SSTT) has ever been able to replicate...interesting; G/L with your PES piggyback.

Nobody else has gotten that time with just a turbo tuner? I find that hard to believe. Only thing I had going for me that day was it was pretty cold out (End of Winter, Beg. of Spring) and they had just prepped the track before I took that pass.

9 years later discovered this in my brother's car... fried his DME. Has anyone ever seen one of these? I wonder how many are out there/if anyone else had this problem.

Are you sure it's the reason the DME is fried & this caused it?

If it's truly bad, we can get it up and running for much cheaper than buying a new DME.

https://www.bimmergeeks.net/product-page/dme-cloning
According to my local shop yes this caused it... thanks for the link.
