Hey guys got a question for y'all. I recently shipped my car back to NY from CA and the car is due for inspection. I am wondering if any of you have any recommendations for shops that are willing to pass cars with a DP? More than willing to throw extra cash on top. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Yep. I failed last month with my catless and Cobb tune. Didn't know they had under car camera to check for tampering. Will be uninstalling and reinstalling soon to pass. Help us!!!!

Ny and Nj are two diff states, and two separate jurisdictions. No under car cameras in NY that's a little excessive

you most likely failed because of the monitor being disabled, I failed last year with my cobb because of this... sucks

he did. I believe NJ allows 1 or 2 "not ready" monitor but NOT for rear o2 sensors(cat). Cobb prevents CEL from coming out by resetting the ready state; hence why NJS1000R failed.

Cobb disabled it and puts in a not supported state. This immediately gets you flagged.

Where about in NY? I'm up around Albany and I had no problem getting it inspected. I have no cats and aftermarket exhaust. Just turned JB4 to map 0, dropped it off and picked it up in the morning. Will be the same guy I go to in November because I have tint.

Did you still have stock secondary cats or an under tray? Didn't think you could see it from the bottom with the cover on.

According to my shop who got mine passed there was a huge crackdown on shops who were pushing people's cars thru. NYS came in and basically bankrupted these poor fuckers for giving out stickers.
