Yeah you need the upper duct that goes between the lower & the filter box. Sorry, I don't have one of those

Just stumbled across this post. I will always be grateful for the audio help you provided for my wife;s 328 xi. Your rear camera install DIY is still hands down one of the best instructional guides for any BMW Do-It-Yourself-er!
