Wastegate rattle

Can someone link me to the post where washers were used to fix the wastegate rattle.

My understanding is that you slip the washers between the actuator and compressor housing, effectively extending the length of the wastegate actuator arm, removing slack. You can do this by either removing the bolt entirely and installing the washers, or just loosening it a bit and slipping in modified washers that have been cut into a "C" shape.

I did this about a year ago. I could only get to one side so I actually only had a washer under one bolt and it completely removed my rattle and didn't return. So if you know you have a front turbo rattle (unplug the vacuum tube from the solenoid going to the front wastegate to test) then this 2 washer method will more than likely solve your problem.
