Country owners. Who do you call? Like Tenterfield

Here's the thing,

Mrs and I are investigating moving to a regional centre, in this case, Tenterfield.

What do owners do to get their beasts serviced?
I'm searching for BMW service centres in the area and the closest is 3hours away in Brisbane. I guess I could make a day of it ....

What do they do and recommendations are welcome.

Or buy a Landcruiser....or Falcodore

And I guess if you have problems with the leather upholstery, you could call a 'Saddler'....

Bmws are just cars nothing special.
Try and find someone that has a diagnostic tool in your area to troubleshoot then any mechanic can fix it.

Plenty of us are forced to fix our own cars because bmw dealerships are not able to fix things.

lived with the car in Wagga for 2 years, and now in Western sydney, my job means I will be spending the next 4-5 years at least in the country.
my strategy- do oil changes myself - actually mega easy on these cars, get a Fumoto valve to make it even less painful. get MHD and a DCAN cable for diagnostic purposes. for all major things I usually get the done when i'm visiting the city for any other reason.

if you can find them, there are still european specialists in most regional towns.

Another point is that cars in the country generally have an easier life- much cheaper insurance too!
