Hey all, just looking for some input if anyone else has had this issue. On a data log I did tonight, I had the 3rd gear boost limit set on the JB4 but it also appeared to be enabled in 4th. I ran the car through 3rd and 4th targeting what was supposed to be 26psi. Instead of seeing a target of 23 in third(what the limit was set to) and 26 in 4th, I saw 23 targeted in a flat line in both gears. I'll try to get another couple logs in tomorrow see if it was a fluke, but from my understanding I thought the 3rd gear limit only applied to that gear.
Edit: Found a log with no 3rd limit set and glanced at the gear JB4 thinks I'm in and it's screwy. Both win and without the limit it thinks I'm in 3rd. You'll see the change to 4th and then almost immediately go back to reading that's it's 3rd gear. Now my question is how to fix this. |

Whatever is going on would be clearly visible in your JB4 log, which you should post to n54tech's support area, for advice. There are also limiters for "boost over stock", so if your DME is cutting boost the JB4 will also.

You can see in the screen shot of the log that after I shift to 4th it sees I'm in 4th and then just decides to go back to thinking it's in 3rd gear.
